Sine cūrā:
PLANET KRVAVICA PRE-READERS

Launch: May 7, 2025, terrace of the Palazzo Barbarigo, Venice
Organised by: DAI-SAI, dpr-barcelona

Planet Krvavica: Surveying Local Futures Through Practices of Imperfect Care critically revisits the three-year engagement of DAI-SAI with the contested site of the former Children’s Health Resort in Krvavica, Croatia. This forthcoming publication assembles essays, field notes, visual documentation, and situated reflections from a diverse network of contributors. Rather than presenting conclusive narratives, it investigates how uneven legacies, spatial neglect, and fragile forms of care intersect with broader planetary urgencies. The volume proposes that alternative futures are not found elsewhere, but emerge precisely through these local entanglements and the imperfect, often messy, practices of repair.

We’re pleased to announce that the pre-reader texts and visual essays are authored by Loris L. Perillo and Andrea Arcese, Rajna Avramova, Liisa Ryynänen, and girlscanscan collective (Lilla Kammermann and Lilla Luca Varga).
